Meet The Team

Leah is from Oshkosh, WI where she trained in dance and baton twirling for 15 years, competing at the national and world level. With her dance background, she was able to perform as a Miss Wisconsin dancer for 5 years, later becoming the choreographer and producer for the state pageant. She also has been a candidate, mentor, judge, and volunteer for the Miss America Organization for over 20 years. She is also an advocate for The Crohn’s and Colitis foundation and The American Heart Association as a Crohn’s Warrior and heart attack survivor herself. 

 

Leah is employed with SkyWest Airlines as a Flight Attendant, traveling up to 300,000 miles per year. She resides in the Avondale neighborhood with her husband, Eddie and together they love to travel, enjoy all that the Windy City has to offer and spend quality time with their families. She loves musicals and concerts, she’s a Swifty for life! Her guilty pleasure is all things reality tv and true crime documentaries or podcasts. 

 

Leah is coming into her 4th year as Executive Director and is so excited to continue building upon the amazing legacy of the Miss Chicago Organization, coming into its 103rd year.
